World first at BrauBeviale 2019: Efficient solutions from Viessmann for the brewing and beverage industry
Efficiency, sustainability and a stable brewing process: Viessmann will be presenting its comprehensive solutions for the brewing and beverage industry at BrauBeviale 2019 in Nuremberg from 12 to 14 November. Viessmann offers complete system solutions for the economical supply of steam and heat with an output of 0.2 t/h to 120 t/h. In addition to proven products such as Vitomax steam and hot water boilers and system components, the main focus is on digitisation for brewing 4.0. The Industrial Cockpit, a tool for digital plant monitoring and the latest innovation from Viessmann, will celebrate its debut at the trade fair. The Viessmann Industrial Solutions division will be exhibiting at BrauBeviale 2019 in Hall 4, Stand 4-407.

Efficient and sustainable steam supply
Breweries have a high energy demand due to the special processes used in beer making. Viessmann offers individual complete solutions and complete boiler plants for the efficient supply of steam and heat. Steam and hot water boilers from Viessmann prove their worth with a very high degree of efficiency. In addition, they are characterised by particularly low nitrogen oxide (NOx) values.

Vitomax hot water and steam boilers from Viessmann, with their comprehensive equipment options, offer the right solution for every requirement in breweries and the beverage industry. All boilers from Viessmann share a modular design principle - from the standard boilers, right up to tailor-made plants. A virtual brewing process will show visitors to the Viessmann stand where and how Vitomax boilers can be used in breweries.

Stable brewing process
Brewers will have their energy supply firmly under control with the new Industrial Cockpit, which Viessmann Industrial Solutions will be presenting to the world for the first time at BrauBeviale 2019. This digital visualisation tool enables trouble-free and efficient operation of the boiler plant and is available in two versions.

As the Cockpit Basic Package it provides a simple display of the plant parameters. This allows preset, standardised trends such as flow and return temperatures to be monitored.

The Cockpit Pro Package goes beyond data and trend analyses with an alarm that can be issued if defined limits are exceeded or not reached. The operator is then able to use the data to optimise the plant settings, therefore minimising operating costs and downtimes. At the same time, the data can be used for verification of the test certificate in accordance with TRBS 2141 and for the energy audit in accordance with the German Energy Services Act (EDL-G) and ISO 50001/EN 16247. Brewers no longer need to attend to the boilers several times a day, but can concentrate on their work. With the Industrial Cockpit, they always have the technology firmly under control - even remotely - and can keep a constant eye on values such as system performance, flow temperature and pressure. 'This is Service 4.0,' emphasised Mario Merner, Managing Director of Viessmann Industrial Service GmbH. This is the service unit of the Viessmann Industrial Solutions division.

Vitocontrol HS digital PLC controller
The enhanced Vitocontrol HS PLC controller for steam and hot water boilers also keeps processes running smoothly in breweries and the beverage industry. This digital control system features automatic fault detection and controller optimisation. This enables remote monitoring and diagnosis, as well as proactive plant maintenance (predictive maintenance). The Vitocontrol HS gives breweries access to all the possibilities that the digital world has to offer for plant optimisation.
